Drains fail in a handful of recognizable ways, and the symptom usually tells us which one you have before we arrive. Tell us what you are seeing when you call and we can bring the right machine the first time.
- One slow fixture: usually a local clog in that trap or branch line
- Several fixtures slow at once: almost always the main line, not the fixtures
- Gurgling when the washing machine drains: air being pushed back through a restricted line
- A toilet that rises and falls with other fixtures: the main line again
- Backups that come and go with heavy rain: groundwater getting into a cracked line or a septic field
- A drain that clears and re-clogs every few months: buildup on the pipe wall rather than a single obstruction
What it costs, before we start
Our prices are on the homepage and they are the prices. A main sewer line is $375 and includes the camera inspection, kitchen and bathroom drains are $165, hydro jetting is $475. There is no estimate visit, no trip fee, and nothing due up front.
The diagnostic is free with any of that work. If you only want to know what is wrong and are not ready to have it fixed, it is $75 on its own.
Why the free camera matters to you specifically
A homeowner deciding whether to spend money on a drain has one real question: is this a clog or is this the pipe. Those have very different price tags, and you should not have to take our word for which one you are looking at.
On main line work we send the camera down at no extra charge and you watch the footage. If it is roots at a clay joint, you will see the roots. If a section has cracked or settled, you will see that too, and you will have a photo report to take to whoever does the repair.
When it is the middle of the night
We answer around the clock, including weekends and holidays. Sewage backing up into a tub is not something to sit with until Monday, and it is one of the few plumbing problems that gets materially worse the longer it waits.
