Terms of Service
These terms cover the text messages you may get from American Drain Hero. Please read them before you text us or give us your mobile number. By doing either, you agree to them.
Program name
The messaging program is operated by American Drain Hero, a drain and sewer service company in Lynchburg, Virginia. Messages come from (434) 333-5785, the same number you call us on.
What the program is for
This is a customer service program. We text you about work you contacted us about, not about anything else. Messages are for:
- Confirming a visit you have booked with us.
- Letting you know a technician is on the way.
- Replying to a question you texted us.
- Sending a quote, an invoice, or a receipt.
- Following up about work we have done.
We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this program, and we do not sell or share your number so that another company can text you.
How you are enrolled
You are enrolled when you text us first, or when you give us your mobile number and ask us to text you about your job, for example while booking a visit over the phone. We do not add numbers from any other source. Consent to get these messages is not a condition of buying anything from us: you can always call us instead.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are tied to a job you contacted us about, so most people get a handful around a single visit and nothing in between.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier under your own plan, not from us. Check with your carrier if you are not sure what your plan includes.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will get one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will not text you again unless you ask us to start.
Opting out does not cancel a visit you have booked. If you have stopped texts and we need to reach you about a job, we will call you instead. To start again, just text us.

Delivery
Messages may be delayed or fail to arrive for reasons outside our control, including your carrier's network, your device, and your coverage. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If something is time-sensitive, call us.
Supported carriers
The program works with major United States mobile carriers. Carrier support can change, and carriers are not responsible for the content of these messages.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store and protect it, who we share it with, and how you can correct or delete it.
What these terms do not cover
This page is about text messages. It is not the agreement for the work itself. Pricing, scheduling, and the terms of any job we do for you are handled directly with you before we start work, and are confirmed on the quote or invoice for that job.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and if we do we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to text with us after a change means you accept the updated terms.
